This is a message for Neighbourhood Watch in Woodfield ward.
A burglary took place to a house in Boswell Gardens between 1920 hours and 2215 hours on Wednesday 27th of August. Entry was gained by removing a fence panel in the back garden and breaking a window in the back door. A tidy search was made and property was stolen. Crime number E1 08 6625.
An attempted burglary took place to a house in Herne Road at 0030 hours on Tuesday 26th of August where an unsuccessful attempt was made to pick the lock on the front door. Crime number E1 08 6583.
Another attempted burglary took place in Tates Way between midnight and ten minutes past midnight on Wednesday 27th August. Again the offenders tried to force the lock on the front door. Crime number E1 08 6619.

This is a message for Neighbourhood Watch in Chells Manor.
A man with an Irish accent called at a house in The Pastures on the afternoon of Wednesday 27th of August.  He asked if he could come in the house and give a quote for cutting down some trees. He was refused entry.  He was wearing a t shirt with A1 Tree cutting on the front.

 Please can you be vigilant when using ATM machines and be wary of any devices attached to the machines including pinhole cameras. Any devices and/or suspicious activity should be reported to the police.
